Abstract :
This paper presents an new synthesis technique. This technique can conveniently design the main lobe´s shape, the cover area, the ripple and the lower edge slope of the shaped-beam radiation patterns in the condition of that the aperture size of the linear array antenna is given. The side-lobe level of the shaped-beam pattern can also be conveniently designed by using this method. Because of these advanced characteristics, this method can be used in many applications
