Abstract
In this paper, the asynchronous brake control technology is proposed for the safety of heavy-haul trains in heavy-haul transportations. And the longitudinal dynamics of heavy-haul trains, which is the basic problem of this technology, was studied. A longitudinal dynamical model was established by analyzing the condition of trails, the equipments of rolling stock, train formations, etc. and verified by testing the actual operating data of the 20,000 tons´ train formation. As the experimental results show, the longitudinal dynamical model of the heavy-haul trains established in this paper provides a firm basis for future study.
