Abstract
A study of divided segment maximum likelihood registration (DSMLR) algorithm for spatial alignment of multiple moving platforms multiple dissimilar (active or passive) sensors is presented. MLR handles any number of dissimilar sensors. The operation dividing the measure into multiple data segment overcomes the problems caused by the move of platforms and tracking target in real time. Theory analysis and the simulation results show that the DSMLR can register sensor measurements, locate and track target. The registration errors can approach to the Cramer-Rao low bounds
