Abstract
It is very important to continuously carry out observations of the troposphere not only for weather forecast but also for investigations of gas flow which causes environment hazard, of wind shear, and so on. This paper introduces a new P-band troposphere wind profiler. The practical side of the features of the system is employing of a low loss active phased array antenna and high power amplifiers. The experiment result shows that the technique has many specialties for designing the wind profiler and is suit to manufacture. This paper describes the details of the wind profiler and data measure with this radar
