Abstract
Based on the echo model of bistatic SAR and range equation in RD domains, an ECS (extended chirp scaling) algorithm derived from the ECS algorithm of monostatic SAR was proposed for squint mode bistatic SAR imaging. Meanwhile, two key problems of this algorithm, Doppler ambiguity and imaging position in range direction, was analyzed. At last the ECS algorithm advanced in this paper is proved to be valid by the simulation results
