Abstract :
This paper investigates mobile satellite system performance under multipath fading, foliage shadowing and cochannel interference. Up-link and down-link interference scenarios are examined considering independent and correlated signal and interference. System performance is evaluated in terms of the outage probability and bit error probability under extremely slow fading and moderately slow fading conditions
