Abstract :
We have reviewed recent progresses on slow light based on holographic gratings such as stationary gratings, nonlinearly induced dynamic gratings and atomic coherence gratings. Several applications such as addressable multi-channel all-optical buffer memory and stored phase conjugate light wave based on slow light and stopped light pulses will be addressed.
