Design and performance evaluation of a communication protocol for an information communication processing system

The problem of how to manage communication networks and network construction systems that are diverse and complex is discussed. The authors consider the necessity of network management systems which can supply information users with enhanced information services as well as monitoring and controlling network resources. The International Standard Organization (ISO) and ITU-T have been actively executing special studies on the structure of network management systems and the standardization of network management protocols. The authors design and implement a communication protocol that can effectively, remotely, and intensively manage various systems that are distributed locally
