Abstract :
The detection performance of bistatic seacoast surveillance radar is strongly associated with the baseline range and the altitudes of transmitter and receiver, which is different form the monostatic radar. Then the sites of transmitter and receiver must be choosed carefully while experimenting or using the bistatic seacoast surveillance radar. ln this paper, the theory of detection performance for bistatic seacoast surveillance radar is presented, some important result about the detection performance is gived by the simulation experiment, which is valuable for experimenting or using the bistatic seacoast surveillance radar
