Abstract :
In this paper Modbus Controller using Vhdl is discussed. This controller is based on UART and RS-232 interface. This controller has been prepared for remote administrations of a network of devices for ex. In a system which measures temperature and humidity and then communicate the results to a remote computer. Modbus controller works in two modes i.e.unicast and broadcast. The bus architecture is model in Vhdl and some of the simulation results are presented.
