Abstract :
This paper presents a framework of group decision support system for mass customization (MC) named MACIG, which allows multiple decision makers to cooperate in the MC-related problems. The system provides a set of artificial intelligent approaches such as case-based reasoning for case learning, and data mining tools in addition to the synchronous and asynchronous communication groupware. The model base contains a state of the art set of MC-specific models as well as the generic models for operational management. The system is described at a conceptual level, and the software prototype is being developed in Shanghai Jiaotong University.
