The purposes of this article are to present the design of learning model (Blended Learning [BL]) based engineering educational ideas. BL is an organic integration which is through face to face learning and virtual environments. The model was designed to help student improve the ability of knowledge practice and application. Using Merrill´s first principles combined with engineering education ideas, my research specified BL modeling, and carried it into practice in higher-education universities. The results showed that the students´ understandings and application about the knowledge were significantly improved after they engaged in the BL model based engineering education ideas, and the ability of students´ teamwork collaboration also has been a certain extent improved. These findings suggest that BL based engineering educational ideas is effective in supporting students to learning professional course in the higher-education universities.
