Abstract
Traditional Direct torque control (DTC) has the rapid torque response, better robustness. However it has larger torque ripple and flux ripple at low speed because of the inverter switching frequency varying with the speed. The deadbeat DTC can achieve the given torque and flux at the end of a sampling period. And it can reduce the ripple of torque and flux. The simulation and experiment results show that the current distortion can be improved and the flux ripple and torque ripple can be reduced by Deadbeat DTC which inherits the rapid response of traditional DTC.
