  • Abstract
    Combining the theory of fuzzy neural networks (FNN) and Variable Structure sliding mode control(SMC), an adaptive control scheme with variable structure FNN was proposed to apply in the temperature control of cementation furnace which is a system with time-delay and nonlinear. Without depending on mathematical model of the system, this scheme has the advantages of fast response speed, high control accuracy, strong anti-oscillation and good robustness, especially it can weak the buffeting. The proposed scheme has been shown effective according to the simulation results and physics experiments.
