Abstract :
In the food processing industry, getting rid of cracked eggs is an important process. At present in China, the method of detecting damaged eggs is mainly by hand, by which detection workers observe eggs under the light or turning eggs to bump into each other so as to listen to the voice of the eggshell. Thus, the method is labour intensity, but also the low efficiency and poor precision. In this paper, for some problems existing in the detecting system of cracked eggs, virtual instrument software developing platform LabVIEW is used fully to achieve automative detecting and eliminating cracked eggs, thereby, labor intensity is reduced and the measurement accuracy of eggs has improved.
