  • Abstract
    A multi-mode photovoltaic (PV) power generation system based on DC bus is proposed to reduce the impact of mismatching PV strings. By the control of mode switches, the system can change flexibly among three PV systems: central PV system, string PV system and hybrid PV system. Through this method, the system can generate more power and the efficiency will be improved. In addition, in central PV system, the application of interleave technique can reduce the ripple of PV strings´ currents. Simulation and experimental results verify the feasibility of the proposed system structure.
