Abstract :
Competitive sources for power must be available if an electric utility´s rates are to compete on the market. Utilities must have desirable packages of goods and services, ones that their consumers want. The authors argue that, as electric utilities look at this coming competitive world, they must anticipate what their members or customers are going to want, and need to be there first in its provision
