Abstract :
Converter is a major component in wind turbine generator, whose control strategy is the core of the whole wind turbine generator control system. With combination of model-based design (MBD) and automatic code generation technology, this paper proposed a new developing method for converter control module of doubly-fed wind generator (DFIG). Firstly, design algorithms, establish system model and carry out simulation testing and verification in Simulink. Then embedded code related to converter control module was generated automatically through Embedded Coder. Co-simulation with Matlab and Code Composer Studio (CCS) was introduced to conduct Processor in the loop (PIL) simulation which targeted for chip TMS320F28335.
