Abstract :
A noninverting Two-Switch Buck-Boost (TSBB) converter with wide input range is proposed to convert the output voltage of high-speed low-voltage generator to constant. The small-signal model of the TSBB converter is built in different operation modes. The transfer function of the control system is derived. In order to simplify the control circuit, the synchronous switching control method and smooth transitions control strategy are proposed. The whole control system of the converter is easy to design and control. A prototype is built to verify the effectiveness of the proposed converter. The experimental results show that the converter can operate steady in wide AC input range.
