  • Abstract
    This paper deals with the insulation fault diagnosis of a 5-phase Flux Switching Permanent magnet Motor (FSPM) using vibration measurements. Both cases of insulation faults are detailed (short-circuit and open-circuit faults) and the fault detection using the FSPM vibration are explained. The method is validated by experimental tests in a 5-phase FSPM.
