  • Abstract
Owing to the redundant structure, Dual-redundancy Brushless DC Motor (BLDCM) has played an important role in aerospace in which a high reliability is essential. To solve the problem of current imbalance between the two stator windings in Dual-redundancy BLDCM, in this paper a Maximum Current Sharing Method is selected to realize the current balancing. First, the mathematical model of Dual-redundancy BLDCM is established. And then the causes and consequences of current imbalance are analyzed. The model of Dual-redundancy BLDCM double closed loop control system based on maximum current sharing method is established and simulated at last. The simulation results demonstrate the validity of this current sharing control strategy.
