Abstract :
Screw is the key mechanism of the extruder machine, and the screw manufacturing level determines the level of rubber and plastics manufacturing machine. Here, based on the character of the extrusion screw, it is studied the motion principle, and established the tool path planning of the whirlwind envelope milling the extrusion screw, which included the tool and workpiece coordinate system setting, the coordinate transformation, the envelope condition, and the tool path equation. This technology provides a new way to the extrusion screw manufacturing.
