Abstract :
This paper provided a way for simulating the electrical vehicle´s inertia by using the electrical dynamometer. The way to simulate the electrical vehicle´s inertia is to match the torque that should be present in a given road condition and use torque feedback to the motor controller to maintain the proper amount of torque. Using an asynchronous motor as the load machine (LD), which is based on direct torque control, vehicle´s inertia simulation is realized by electrical simulation.
