  • Abstract
    In order to accurately analyze the impact of gas flow in exhaust system on engine performance, the paper has set up 1D/3D coupling simulation model using GT-POWER and STAR-CD softwares based on TBD234V12 diesel engine. With the simulation result comparing with experimental data, the paper has proved the coupling simulation model is accurate. On the basis of using sequential turbocharging technology, new exhaust system has been designed, and simulated distribution of velocity vector at different crank angles.
