Abstract
With the emergence of new network technologies new services have appeared with new requirements to delay time, efficiency of bandwidth use, and QoS. Using the ATM and SDH technologies for IP traffic transfer enables to make quantitative estimation of channel capacity use with different technologies selected, compare bandwidth, addressing, and digital stream control mechanisms.
