Abstract
Inner armature tubular flux-switching permanent magnet linear motor (IA-TFSPMLM) has a large thrust, simple structure, and easy to magnetic separation, etc. This paper carries out the research on a 12-slot/14-pole inner armature motor, including analyzing the electromagnetic performance of the permanent magnet and wingding, studying the law of the magnetic flux leakage and its thrust characteristics, which is also compared with the outer armature motor. Then the key design parameters are optimized. Finally, the convex permanent magnetic is proposed to reduce the flux leakage and improve thrust index effectively. The conclusion can provide reference for the design and application of the IA-TFSPMLM.
