Abstract :
In this paper, a simplified 3D-SVPWM algorithm is proposed for the three-phase four-wire shunt active power filter system. 3D-SVPWM algorithm is used for synthesizing the desired bridge output voltage and generating compensation currents to cancel the harmonics. The relationship between command vector and duty cycle of each leg is proved to be coincident with the result of applying period average method. Compare to the traditional 3D-SVPWM algorithm, the improved SVPWM algorithm is extremely simplified while the similar performance is achieved simultaneously. Simulation and experimental results validate the correctness and feasibility of proposed algorithm.
