Abstract :
Conditional monitoring and fault diagnosis is one of the most important application of data fusion technology, and it has played an important role in many fields today. But conditional monitoring and fault diagnosis is currently facing a prominent problem that the type of information which need be fused is different. Traditional methods of data fusion are lack of mathematical basis when they are used to represent and fuse heterogeneous information, so it can not do the analysis and fault diagnosis effectively. In order to solve the problem of representing and fusing heterogeneous information in conditional monitoring and fault diagnosis, a method based on random set is proposed in this paper. By the simulation experiment, the validity of the method proposed is shown at last.
