Abstract :
A digitally controlled multiphase sinusoidal oscillator (DCMSO) circuit employing digitally controlled current conveyors (DCCCII) and grounded capacitors is presented. In the proposed circuit, voltage-mode inverting first-order low-pass sections are utilized to arrive at a circuit capable of producing multiphase sinusoidal waveforms. The oscillation conditions and oscillation frequencies are orthogonally (or independently) controllable. The use of grounded capacitors ensures viability for monolithic integrated circuit implementation. Results of PSPICE simulations confirm the proposed theory.
