Abstract :
In this paper, the application of remote control model aircraft in transmission line ice cover is discussed. A line icing thickness monitoring system based on graphical user interface and wireless communication transmission is presented. The system is composed of data collection unit and data analyzing workstation. The system structure, functions, design and implementation are mainly introduced.
