Abstract
This paper outlines the rationale and discusses issues related to the development and marketing of a digital educational video game. The concept, theme and design of the game are aimed at topical socio-environmental issues important to local (Hong Kong) students. This experience illustrates some of the primary challenges in the development and deployment of educational video game software.
