Abstract
In the present paper HVDC fault analysis using Stockwell Transforms is carried out. Stockwell Transform is utilized for the real time prediction of the disturbance as it accurately determines the sudden changes in the signal. The method uses the scalable Gaussian window which dilates and translates the time varying function and hence the prediction is very accurate. The presented technique has been tested on various types of HVDC faults to show the efficacy of the proposed technique.
