Abstract :
In process control system, Process database is a main component for real-time, historical data processing. Recently, the concern on process database is increasing. From now, With process database, Historian or Memory DB with Relational Data model are mainly used. But, each has both advantages and disadvantages. Especially, on performance and flexibility, they have to complement each other. In this paper, we analyze past process databases in detail, and propose an architecture of new process database with both flexibility and performance.
