Abstract
The author explores some of the challenges, issues, and approaches used by the JUSTIS program office to develop JUSTIS as a corporate information resource. Topics covered include the corporate view which has guided the JUSTIS effort; methods being used to capture the Army, Navy, and Air Force requirement; and products which have been developed which are consistent with the goals of corporate information management. A number of techniques are described which have been used to build products that capture the DoD-wide corporate requirement for the automation of technical information management tasks
