Abstract :
In conclusion, a 20 Gb/s SCM system is presented and represents the highest capacity commercial SCM system demonstrated to date. BER<10-15 is achieved after transmission over 27 dB; span loss and after 2 amplified 82 km single mode fibre (SMF) spans with dispersion compensation. Results indicate that, with proper equalization, more spans can be supported with this technology.
