  • Abstract
It is interesting to view the Web´s evolution in robotic terms--specifically, in terms of the common cognitive architecture for robots described as perceive, reason, act. As sensors and effectors are being added to the Web, it is acquiring the ability to perceive and act. The availability of the additional information of its physical environment is enhancing its ability to reason. By organizing all of its information into forms amenable for perception and for decisions about actions, the Web is taking a more active role and will be more useful.
