Abstract :
An object-oriented development approach that views the extension of the system under development as a generic ongoing process is described. This approach is based on building an object-oriented model of the real world in the analysis stage and continuously enhancing this model into a functional computer system in the successive stages of the development cycle. In order to evaluate this approach, the concept of an extensibility chart is defined as an evaluation tool for establishing the extensibility attributes of software development methodologies
