Abstract :
An one-way hashing algorithm is designed to fit the wireless sensor network in this paper. The algorithm adopts the tent map of integer and the model of coupled map lattice, and compresses a message of arbitrary length into a fingerprint of 128 bits. Experiment results show that the algorithm has ideal diffusion and confusion properties, so that it has good one-way and collision resistant performances. Moreover, there isn´t complex operation such as division and floating-point calculation in the computation process of the algorithm. So the algorithm is suitable for the application in the WSN nodes, of which the computing power is limited.
