Abstract :
The paper present issues regarding the modeling and simulation in Matlab-Simulink environment of a doubly-fed three-phased induction machine operating in generator regime. The considered induction machine is of a special constructive type with alpha angle lagged windings. The machine presents three types of winding w1, w2 and w3, corresponding to the rotor, load and excitation. In the paper, there is presented the modeling in stationary and transient regime. The equations of the special type machine were implemented in Simulink, and there are presented the results for a study case, that consider a drop load. There are drawn conclusions regarding the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed doubly-fed induction machine.
