Abstract
Local Cyclic (LC) codes are class of error control code which constructed from decompositions of polynomial rings according to different cyclic multiplicative groups. Generally, LC codes with parameters (n, k) are established only on a polynomial ring. For expanding the ability to construct new codes and finding more optimal LC codes, this paper presents a new method to set up LC code based on compound decomposition of two polynomial rings. Some simulation results of one code which established by this method are also presented in this paper.
