Abstract :
This paper discusses image processing is carried on measuring cucumber leaf parameters. Leaf area of cucumber is determined with image processing, which results are compared with the results of grid counting, paper weighing and leaf area meter method. Leaf maximum length and leaf maximum width of cucumber are determined with image processing, which results are compared with the results of grid counting and leaf area meter method. The experimental result shows that image processing for measuring cucumber leaf parameters is high accuracy and precision, multi-parameter, strong practicability, advanced technology, and the measurement can be done without breakage, which provides the theory basis developing for PDA leaf area.
