Abstract :
Charge sensitive infrared phototransistors (CSIPs) are presented as single-photon detectors in the mid-infrared to Terahertz range, which have been developed based on the detection scheme of semiconductor quantum dot terahertz detectors. Their application to passive microscopy is also mentioned.
