  • Abstract
Lidar has been extensively studied for its applications in target detection, range measurement, and imaging. Compare with other light source, chaotic lidar (CLIDAR) has the advantages of very high range resolution and never repeated waveform benefited by the broad-band chaotic waveform used. However, the channel noises between the transmitter and the receiver may decrease the quality of the correlation in the conventional chaotic lidar scheme. In this paper, we numerically study the resistances of the channel noise utilizing chaos synchronization in different schemes.
