Abstract :
In this paper, coupling characteristics of a novel 12/14 bearingless SRM with non-equidistant inner stator pole arc is researched. In the bearingless SRM the magnetic coupling not only includes the coupling between torque and radial force but also includes coupling between two radial force channels in X and Y direction. Firstly the two types coupling degree are analyzed by means of finite element method in this paper. What´s more, some factors that may affect the coupling characteristics such as the radial force winding arrangement and the radial force winding number are all taken into consideration. The analysis result provides good references for the design of decoupling control algorithm.
