Abstract :
Coverage is one of the most important applications of Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN) in military and surveillance area. In this paper, we proposed an evolutionary based method for covering and tracking some mobile targets in a dynamic area using Wireless Visual Sensor Networks (WVSNs) with minimum energy consumption. We implement our method using Evolutionary Algorithm (EA) and Evolutionary Strategy (ES). The simulation results show the veracity of our method.
