Abstract :
In this paper, we design a kind of piezoelectric generator based on the flow around a blunt body. It can convert kinetic energy in the fluid into electrical energy and supply power for nodes of wireless sensor network. The harvester consists of a piezoelectric cantilever beam and cylindrical bluff body in water. The article introduces the working principle of the generating system. Then the numerical simulation has been down for the fluid solid coupling and electromechanical coupling parts of piezoelectric transducer respectively. We have learned the interaction between several physical field and the working process of the piezoelectric energy harvester in the end.
