Abstract :
Transient electromagnetic sounding method is an important geophysics detecting method, which is a kind of time-domain electromagnetic exploration method developing rapidly and applied widely in recent years. The detection result of TEM has important relations with the instrumentation system. This paper presents a novel transmitter system for transient electromagnetic sounding instrument. The transmitter system is composed of a three phase - single phase matrix converter and a voltage source, instead of a complex system with AC-DC and DC-AC conversion. A novel control strategy of TSMC is proposed. The simulation results verify the performance of the proposed method.
