Abstract :
This work investigates the performance of optimal flux trajectory-based induction motor loss minimization methods when applied to typical "servo motion profiles" which require large step changes in torque occurring at high repetition rates. This work proposes a new method of filtering the optimal stator flux command for improved power savings.
