Abstract
Switched reluctance motor (SRM) system is a very highly nonlinear control system. While the traditional magnetic circuit methods and the analytical methods are hard to analyze the dynamic process of the motor, in order to improve the analysis precision, the two-dimensional transient electromagnetic field model is built in ANSOFT platform, and the control circuit model is built in SIMPLORER platform based on the working characteristics of SRM system. The coupled simulation system is designed in the paper from the two models. The transient simulation is made to the SRM system though field-circuit coupled analysis, and the simulation results and the experimental results have a good consistency. The research of the paper provides the simulation basis and practical values for improving design reliability of SRM system.
