Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a subcarrier-multiplexed four-dimensional LDPC-coded modulation scheme suitable to achieve 400 Gb/s single-channel transmission rate over optical channels. The proposed scheme outperforms the corresponding polarization multiplexing schemes by up to 4.4 dB in OSNR at BER 10-6.
